Career Summary:

Al Coppin has thirty-six years of experience in business park development, management, brokerage, land sales, office, industrial and retail sales and leasing. He is also a builder-general contractor for residential and industrial projects.

Education:

Attended the University of California, Berkeley, and earned a B.S. in Operations Management (1969) and a MBA in Applied Economics (1970). He is also a licensed broker and contractor.

Experience:

Al Coppin started at Grubb & Ellis Commercial Brokerage in 1971, as an industrial/investment sales agent. During his time there he took on the roles of: Manager of Marin-Sonoma Operations (1974) and East Bay Industrial Specialist (1975).

Co-founded Keegan & Coppin Company, Inc. with Jim Keegan in 1976. They developed the company to cover commercial real estate marketing and development, management and construction.
